#ECPrizeGiving – Tourism, Hospitality and Business

Congratulations to our Tourism, Hospitality and Business Prize Winners!

This week has seen the start of our month-long Virtual Prize Giving, celebrating the astounding achievements of students from across our curriculum.

Each week in June we’re highlighting winners from each of our faculties – this started with Tourism Hospitality and Business this week. Each day we have been sharing student stories on our website and on our FacebookInstagram and Twitter. Click the links to read more.

Congratulations to all of the winners in: Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Complementary Therapies; Enterprise and Commerce; ESOL, Modern Languages and Travel and Tourism; Retail and Events; and Professional Cookery and Hospitality.

The overall faculty winner has been revealed as City and Guilds Professional Cookery student Caitlin Lannigan (pictured).

Caitlin has overcome tough challenges throughout her life – losing her parents at a young age, and being made homeless not long after starting College. But she has shown immense strength, resolve and determination to set her life on track, and, with help from the College’s Cookery and Hospitality team – she is shining as a student and is destined to have a bright future in the industry.
