Welcome to Sighthill campus! Along the tram track in the West of Edinburgh, Sighthill campus is home to the Music Box for budding musicians and sound producers and our Centre for Sport and Exercise.
While most of our courses will be delivered online from the start of session 20/21, here is everything you need to know about the campus, and contact details for more information if we haven’t covered what you’re looking for.
How often will I be on campus?
For the beginning of session 2020/21, we will be adopting a blended learning approach to teaching and learning, with most courses delivered online only.
There will be limited on-campus face-to-face teaching where required and safe to do so. Your lecturer will contact you if your course requires face-to-face teaching.
I have additional support needs – who can I talk to?
We provide confidential support and guidance for students with additional support needs. To talk to someone, you can email learning.support@edinburghcollege.ac.uk.
Read our blog on reasons to disclose your additional support need for more information.
Where can I get advice and guidance?
If you need some advice or guidance, you can call our Student Services Enquiry Line Monday to Friday between 10am -1pm and 2pm – 4pm to speak to our Student Services team. Contact the team on 0131 297 8650.
The Student Services team can help with student finance and funding, accommodation, finding part-time work, interview skills and UCAS applications.
Read our blog to find out more about the support that is available to you as a student.
What is an LDT and where do I find them?
Most full-time students have a named Learning Development Tutor (LDT) who will act as your main point of contact throughout the year. Your LDT will support you and monitor your attendance and progress on your course.
LDTs will be running tutorials online. You will find out who your LDT is when you get your timetable and will receive their contact details when you start your course.
Who do I talk to about funding?
If the funding section of our website doesn’t have the information you need, then you can talk to our Student Funding team by emailing them at this address studentfunding@edinburghcollege.ac.uk
I need to pay my fees, what do I do?
Once you have been offered a place on a course you will be sent a payment link where you will be able to pay securely either in full or by instalments.
If you are unable to pay this way or have any questions email cashiers@edinburghcollege.ac.uk with your full name, contact details, details of your course, application reference and any other relevant information. The team will investigate this and get back in touch with you.
What is the best way to get to Sighthill campus?
