Every year, in August, we invite new students to welcome events to make sure you are as prepared as possible for your time at college.
Welcome events are designed for new full-time students who have been made an unconditional offer of a course at Edinburgh College.
2nd year HND Students will automatically be enrolled so do not attend these events. If you have a conditional offer based on exam results, we will begin reviewing your offer as soon as the exam results are released on 7 August. Then we will convert your offer to unconditional or discuss alternatives with you – after this, you will receive your invite to a welcome event.
It is important that you attend your welcome event.
It will ensure that you are registered for the correct course and that any questions you have regarding your course, funding and support can be answered prior to the start of your course.
A personal email invitations will be sent in the coming weeks inviting you to a welcome event at the campus you will be studying at.
