Life Sciences Access Course
The Life Sciences SWAP course will develop your knowledge and understanding of subjects such as biology, chemistry and maths. This course can lead on to a range of degree options including biochemistry, cell biology and microbiology. Watch this video to find out more.

The Physical Science SWAP course will develop your knowledge and understanding of subjects such as physics, chemistry and maths. This course can lead on to degree options including physics and chemical engineering.
Access to Engineering NC (SWAP)
This Access to Engineering NC is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and systems covering a range of engineering disciplines. It is an ideal stepping stone for studying a variety of engineering courses at HNC/D at Edinburgh College. Degree options from this course include mechanical, electrical, renewable and civil engineering.
Arts, Social Sciences and Primary Teaching Access
This Arts, Social Sciences and Primary Teaching course offers you the opportunity to study sociology, psychology, politics, communication, literature, creative writing, history and maths. Degree options from this course include social sciences or primary teaching. Adult learners can also progress onto HNC level courses at Edinburgh College.
Languages with Business Access
This Languages with Business course will develop your understanding of literature, business management and mathematics. You will also develop study skills and become prepared for higher education. Adult learners may progress onto HNC/D programmes in languages, arts or social sciences at Edinburgh College. A wide range of degree options are also available at various Scottish universities.
