Chloe Smith MP, minister for the constitution, visited Sighthill Campus last week to spend time with a group of Prince’s Trust students who are taking part in a Built Environment taster programme.

Get Into Electrical sees students from the Prince’s Trust visit Edinburgh College for five weeks to learn basic elements of electrical installation and get a feel for campus life. This is the fourth year running that the college has facilitated the programme in partnership with the Prince’s Trust and the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT).

Chloe Smith MP traveled from Westminster to spend time in the electrical workshop with the students, engaging with them about the programme and learning more about their backgrounds and goals for the future.
