The performance of students working towards a Diploma in Professional Marketing has been commended by the industry’s leading professional body.
The awarding body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), 2200 Strategic Marketing, has commended Edinburgh College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in December 2017 as part of the Strategic Marketing module of the course.
June Wigfield, curriculum manager for Business and Finance, said: “We’re delighted that the work our students have produced has been recognised by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
“Our course is designed to help students already working within the industry to develop their skillset in order for them to further their careers and make the most of future opportunities, so to have this recognition is fantastic and a credit to everyone involved.”
Alba Sort, lecturer in Business and Finance and Management and Enterprise, said: “This is the second year in a row that we have been commended by the CIM, demonstrating the hard work of our students and the strength of our course offering in what is an ever-evolving industry.”
